You are invited to participate in the research study "The Bubble". This study was designed by Johan Nieuwenhuize and Robin van Emden for De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
The purpose of this study is to investigate patterns in the appreciation of photographic elements. We will, therefore, ask you to repeatedly choose from three photographs the one photograph you like best. The resulting data will be analyzed by an algorithm that will build a mathematical model of all choices made. This model is then used to create an interactive work of art. The data may also be used for a scientific paper on the merits of our algorithm.
Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and you can stop at any time. We believe there are no risks associated with this study. All data is fully anonymous. No cookies are used or stored. No meta-data is stored. On completion of the project, the full data set will be made available at the Harvard Dataverse.

Our experiment is straightforward: you will repeatedly be shown a set of three random pictures. For every set of three pictures, it is up to you to click the one you like best.
There are up to 717 image comparisons to be made - we are aware that is a lot of comparisons! So if you can, for instance, complete 200 comparisons, that would already be great. If you are able to complete all 717, you are a superhero!
